BMW Specialist for E36 M3 near Frankfurt am Main

I have an E36 M3 and live in Frankfurt. I am looking for a good specialist (one or two companies) who can help me with:

1. General service, brakes, diff oil etc.
2. rough engine idle issue
3. performance modification (I want a chip to take advantage of the 100/102 octane fuel here)

WIth regards to the knock sensors, as far as I'm aware they can pull timing if they detect knock but don't advance it above the map. I imagine the car was mnapped for 98, maybe 100 so there's potentially some gain there, but also I want the general fuel, ignition, and vanos? improvements from a GOOD QUALITY chip.

that is correct, the mapping is in such a way that worldwide conditions of fuels, latitude etc asre to be considered by the factory and the mapping is done under these aspects with certain reserves that all works well under even worst conditions.
So there is some spare NM and HP available for excellent fuel conditions and low altitudes and reasonable temperatures for the tuners.

barbapapa told me that you brought your M3 to his shop to fix the vibration/rubbing problems from the brakes. I understand it in that way (he asked me to translate it for you into English, as he is not very fluent in English):
He found out that the brakes are not the problem, but the front axle wishbones are the problem. Ball joints/bushes have big play/tolerance/wear. In order to save time and money he only changed the ball joints/bushes. I asked him to show you the old parts, then you will understand certainly what he changed and did.
If you want him to change the complete wishbones, then he has to order them from his supplier and you have to come again on a later date.

na also, Deine kleine Firma hat den ersten internationalen Kunden. Wenn es um die 3er geht, auch um Rennfahrzeuge, dann sollte man sich an barbapapa wenden, der macht es guenstig und tauscht nicht alles aus, wie in diesem Fall nur die Buchsen. Kleiner Laden, auch noch nicht mit teuren Diagnosegeraeten ausgeruestet, da gerade erst angefangen, mehr ein Rennstall. Aber mit sehr viel Erfahrung, denn er macht z B den 3er fuer seinen Sohn da fertig fuer Rennen.
